EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a candidate for a PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with an accredited school in the USA.
ResponsibilitiesAs part of our team, you will:
- Research, develop, modify, and test software modules for advanced wireless RAN systems (Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3)
- Identify techniques for software optimization and build prototypes to prove the idea
- Work hands-on to integrate, configure, maintain, and document lab experimentation hardware and implement proof-of-concept testbeds
- Troubleshoot end-to-end wireless systems (e.g., log file analysis)
- Carry out performance testing, data collection, and post processing / analysis
- Solid background in wireless communication systems
- Expertise in one or more of the following: software development, computer architecture, parallel processing, and operating systems
- Proficient in C++, Python, Matlab, Shell scripting
- Experience with hands-on lab work on development, integration, and testing of distributed systems (e.g., Cloud RAN)
- Experience with Linux server platform
It would be nice if you also had:
- Some relevant industry experience and/or peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with GPU (CUDA) programming and/or Deep Learning
- Experience with building and deploying software (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
- Experience with network switch configuration and tools like Wireshark
