Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Material Handler- 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential per hour. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. - Responsible for picking orders, staging, loading and/or unloading material from trucks and/or other departments in order to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.
- Move material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.
- Operate forklifts.
- Store, space and deliver materials or products.
- Stack pallets and arrange materials.
- You may be required to palletize and secure material as needed.
- Use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
- Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
- May utilize the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers around the yard and in and out of the dock doors, as needed or required.
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong product knowledge.
- Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending
- Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail
- Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
- Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate¬
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
