Description
About Multi Media, LLC

Multi Media, LLC is the company behind Chaturbate, one of the most heavily trafficked live streaming platforms in the world. We support a global network of independent content creators and millions of real-time viewers, delivering interactive video at scale. Our infrastructure handles complex broadcasting, low-latency streaming, and high-engagement user experiences. All live, all the time.

We’re building a platform where creators can express themselves freely and grow their communities, where viewers discover and interact with creators they’re drawn to, and where the team behind it is challenged, trusted, and responsible for shaping the experience of millions of users around the world. We value people who take initiative, stay curious, and care deeply about the quality and impact of what they build.

The Role

Senior Software Engineers design and build reliable, scalable systems that power user-facing experiences and critical internal platforms. They take ownership of complex, ambiguous problems, clarify requirements, set technical direction, and deliver durable, high-impact solutions.

Senior engineers mentor others, guide technical decisions, and help the organization move faster through sound design and strong execution. In this role, you’ll influence architecture, improve system reliability, and raise the bar for engineering quality across teams. You’ll interview in the same technologies we use every day: Python on the backend and React on the frontend, so come prepared to code and discuss solutions in either of these two languages.

Teams That Are Hiring:

  • Apps Team - Builds the platform that powers third-party JavaScript applications enhancing the live broadcast experience for creators and viewers. The team works on developer tooling, marketplaces, and secure runtime systems, solving performance, security, and distributed systems challenges at scale.
  • Financial Applications - Develops and maintains the systems that power creator earnings, payments, and financial workflows. This team focuses on accuracy, reliability, fraud prevention, and scalability in high-volume, real-money transaction environments.
  • Video Engineering Team - Owns the core live video streaming technology that enables low-latency, high-quality broadcasts worldwide. The team tackles complex challenges across video pipelines, real-time performance, and scalability to support millions of concurrent viewers.

  • Experience building backend services with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or similar
  • Strong understanding of system design, API design, and scalable architecture
  • Experience working with AWS or GCP
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction beyond your immediate team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity independently
  • Strong collaboration skills across Product, Design, and Engineering
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in high-scale, high-availability environments
  • Professional experience with video streaming technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
