Position Title: Senior Sales Executive – Solar Testing & Certification
Location: Mumbai / Bangalore 
Reporting To: Sales Manager 
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth for solar module and system testing & certification services. The role focuses on expanding market share for UL’s certification portfolio, including IEC, UL standards, performance testing, within the solar PV ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the solar industry, strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, developers, and manufacturers, and a proven track record in technical solution sales.
Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets in solar testing and certification services.
•    Identify and secure new clients across solar module manufacturers, EPC contractors, project developers, and IPP’s
•    Drive pipeline growth through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
•    Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the solar value chain
•    Retain and grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling services
•    Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals and solutions
•    Lead contract negotiations and closure with customers
•    Track industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitor offerings
•    Provide feedback to management on pricing strategies, market positioning, and service gaps

Qualifications & Experience
Education
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy preferred)
•    MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage
Experience
5–10 years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in: 
•    Solar PV industry
•    Testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services
•    Renewable energy or energy sector
