About the Role:

We are looking for someone who can combine rigorous analytical and partner management skillsets to be the first pricing analyst for our SMB business line. You'll be responsible for deep diving into SMB behavior across different segments and geographies to understand the first- and second-order impact of our pricing decisions and to create pricing hypotheses, set up tests, and analyze performance.

You will report to the Head of Pricing, Americas, and will be required to be in office 3 days a week based in our Arlington, Virginia office.

You Will:

  • Build financial and predictive models to improve pricing strategies and increase revenue.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to design pricing experiments.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and implement pricing strategies that align with team goals.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to inform pricing strategy.

You Have:

  • 5+ years in a data analyst role or similar full-time, professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, economics, or another quantitative field (or equivalent additional experience)
  • Intermediate SQL Proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
  • Expertise with statistical concepts (e.g. A/B testing, probability theory, forecasting) and how they can be applied in real-world situations
  • Experience distilling business problems, developing hypotheses, building an analytical framework, carrying out an analysis, and writing a clear recommendation
  • Strong data storytelling skills, including data visualization, technical writing, and business writing

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $128,000-$144,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
