The Process Technician is responsible for process compliance in casting, inspecting dies, operating metal casting equipment, and promoting good housekeeping practices.

Job Responsibilities:
- Process compliance: casting, die lube, plunger lube ratios, cycle times
- Support Die Sets as needed.
- Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
- Operate or tend metal casting.
- Promotes good housekeeping (5S)
- Perform other duties as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position mandates you to wear Personal Protective or Safety Equipment such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats, & and that all jewelry will be removed while on production/ manufacturing floor. Daily, for short periods of time you could be working around extreme high temperatures (above 900 ° F/ 270C).EQUIPMENT/TOOLS USED
Some of the equipment and tools used for the job are a computer, Copier / printer, and tools required in Die Casting.KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required and a minimum of 1 year experience in process related field.
OTHER: Strong Computer and Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Lean Manufacturing background & Six Sigma preferred, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Problem Solving & DOE
