- Must be willing to work in various locations within and outside the facility
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Knowledge of pneumatics
- Knowledge of basic plumbing
- Knowledge of industrial electricity
- MUST be computer proficient and comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer integrated equipment.
- MUST demonstrate mechanical ability, strong math skills, English reading and writing skills and disciplined precision in recording sampling and process data.
- MUST have a current, valid Driver’s License.
- MUST be able to lift and carry 30 pound bags.
- MUST be able to properly handle chemicals per MSDS sheets.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
May be required to lift up to 75lbs. occasionally, 80% walking or standing, 15% computer work, 5% kneeling or crouching
EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:
Hand tools, Power tools, Forklift, Extending boom and scissor type personnel lifts, Computer, Pallet Jack
KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required;
TECHNICAL TRAINING:
- Understanding of related state and federal regulations
- Experience treating oily and metals waste water from casting and metals washing processes
- Experience in industrial waste water pretreatment facilities as lead operator or significant relevant experience is required
- Able to read, understand and interpret technical chemical analysis and lab test results
- Ability to perform chemical calculations to processes
- Experience with plant start up is preferred
- Kamtek Forklift Certification Required
OTHER: Computers, Experience with basic Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
