Provide L2 operational support for non-production telecom infrastructure, including containerized and virtualized platforms. Perform environment setup, recovery, monitoring, incident handling within SLAs, initial RCA, and escalate complex issues to L3 while coordinating with onsite testing teams.
We are looking for an L2 NPE Infrastructure Support Engineer to support mobile and telecom non‑production environments used for network and service testing. The role provides remote infrastructure support to onsite teams and covers containerized platforms, virtualized (hypervisor‑based) environments, and legacy infrastructure supporting RAN, Core, Voice, Data, and Transport testing.
Responsibilities- Provide L2 operational support for non‑production mobile/network infrastructure
- Support containerized and virtualized platforms used for network functions
- Perform environment setup, reset, recovery, and troubleshooting activities
- Monitor infrastructure health and handle incidents within SLAs
- Coordinate with onsite NPE and testing teams to ensure environment readiness
- Perform initial RCA and escalate complex issues to L3 teams
You Have:
- 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure or platform support roles
- Experience supporting telecom or mobile network environments
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (or equivalent)
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, KVM, or similar
- Hands-on Linux system administration skills
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP, DNS, and routing basics
- Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, ELK, or Splunk
- Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira for incident and service management
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to RAN, Core, Transport, or service testing environments
- Basic knowledge of automation or scripting using Shell or Python
- Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery models
- Exposure to large-scale production or telecom infrastructure environments
