Position Overview

Found Health is seeking a strategic and experienced Medical Director to lead clinical innovation and clinical practice for our virtual platform. This role is the primary architect of our clinical offerings, bridging the gap between high-level strategy, product execution, and provider enablement. Partnering closely with our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Rekha Kumar, the Medical Director ensures that our clinical expansion and care delivery remains high-quality, safe, and aligned with cutting-edge medical standards.
This person will oversee the Associate Medical Director, Clinical Leads, and work closely with our Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Strategy
  • Strategic Roadmap: Lead the exploration, prioritization, and development of new metabolic health offerings and longevity protocols.
  • Governance & Regulatory: Serve as the clinical source of truth for Legal and Compliance regarding company and practice matters.
  • Advisory Collaboration: Partner closely with the CEO, the Chief Medical Officer, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Medical Advisors to align clinical innovation with organizational goals.
  • External Partnerships: Evaluate and maintain high-level clinical relationships with external partners, such as pharmacies, diagnostics and care solutions that are or will be part of the formulary and care protocols of Found Health.
2. Clinical Design
  • Design: Generate clinical perspective documents to guide new offerings.
  • Quality Frameworks: Ensure all clinical designs maintain high standards of care and medical safety while enabling a seamless user experience.
  • Strategic Partnership: Provide the "clinical blueprint" for the Product team, while collaborating with the AMD and Clinical Ops Lead on the implementation of technical requirements.
  • Productization of the clinical protocol: Evolve Found training programs for clinicians to ensure they can deliver differentiated, consistent, and high quality care to our patients. Partner closely with the Product team to lower barriers to access and find creative ways to deliver a delightful user experience.
3. Guidelines & Quality Oversight

Collaborate with the Associate Medical Director, who oversees the implementation of protocols for medical practice associated with Found Health and Head of Operations, who is responsible for provider productivity and marketplace metrics.

  • Clinical Standards: Accountable for creation and adoption of all Clinical Practice Guidelines (CGLs).
  • Practice Performance: Accountable for performance of all clinicians, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality standardized care experience to all patients, adherence to Found company and clinical guidelines, and maintaining a high quality, cost effective practice in line with industry standards.
  • Supervision: Oversee the Associate Medical Director in their management of Clinical Quality (e.g., chart audits) and the creation of provider education.
  • Adoption: Drive the overall practice-wide adoption of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Medical Degree: MD or DO with active board certification in a relevant field.
  • Metabolic Health and Longevity Expertise: Strong background or interest in longevity medicine and metabolic health is highly preferred.
  • Clinical Leadership: Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, with significant time spent in a leadership role within a technology-enabled, virtual-first direct pay and insurance-based practice.
  • Visionary Mindset: Ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear strategic plans that can be executed by product and operational teams, and ability to collaborate in a very open and productive way with cross-functional teams.
  • Innovation-driven: Excitement to operate in a constantly evolving, fast-pace space, and to innovate putting the patient at the center of the experience.

Found is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  We seek and celebrate diversity in its many forms.  If you’re excited about this opportunity but do not meet 100% of the qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
