You will help drive the evolution of Nokia’s platforms by balancing innovation, performance, reliability, and security—ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality solutions in demanding, real-world environments.

Responsibilities
  • Design and evolve scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures for mission‑critical platforms
  • Translate business and product requirements into clear architectural decisions and technical designs (HLD/LLD)
  • Drive architecture governance, standards, and best practices across multiple teams
  • Act as a technical leader, influencing cross-functional initiatives and guiding teams toward robust solutions
  • Support engineering teams during implementation, performance optimization, and production troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies and architectural patterns that create real business value
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps and long-term architecture strategy
  • Mentor engineers and architects, helping build a strong, collaborative engineering culture
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, plus at least one platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, or VMware Tanzu
  • Strong background in:
    • Microservices architectures
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Linux systems
    • Networking & security fundamentals
  • Experience creating and reviewing HLDs and LLDs, with the ability to clearly explain trade-offs
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting complex systems in production
     

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the Telecom domain or large-scale service platforms
  • Familiarity with OpenStack and/or VMware environments
  • Experience with databases such as: Oracle, MariaDB, Cassandra
  • Hands-on experience with: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
  • Knowledge of:
    • Keycloak (identity/access management)
    • Messaging systems
    • Workflow/orchestration engines
