We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead and grow our high-performing SaaS sales team and Global Capital Markets (GCM) business. Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop top-tier sales talent. Foster a high-performance culture through regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and team training sessions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and penetrate new and existing verticals, including law firms, private equity, venture capital, and accounting firms.
- Performance Management: Utilize data-driven metrics to monitor team performance, forecast sales, and ensure quota attainment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Marketing teams to align messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.
- Client Engagement: Support sales reps in client meetings to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Sales Enablement: Deliver ongoing training in solution selling, value-based selling, and competitive positioning. Promote continuous learning of DFIN's products, services, and partnerships.
- Process Optimization: Ensure adoption of CRM tools and social selling practices. Drive operational excellence through effective sales processes and systems.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to senior leadership. Share market insights and customer feedback to inform product and strategy decisions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or financial services sales, with a focus on enterprise-level accounts
- Proven success in SaaS sales leadership and team management
- Familiarity with Force Management and/or MEDDPICC selling methodologies
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead diverse teams
- Adaptable, data-driven, and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into legal, financial, or professional services sectors
- Track record of scaling sales teams and entering new markets
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools
