Summary

At Leader Bank, we are expanding our Consumer Direct Team and looking for dynamic loan officers who are excited about originating over $50 million in loan volume annually. As a loan officer on our team, you will handle both inbound and outbound calls to prospective clients, evaluate their needs, and make personalized recommendations from our extensive range of mortgage products. We seek individuals who can excel in a high-energy sales environment while delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Meet with potential clients to understand their financial needs and find the best mortgage product to suit those needs. Empathize with clients and partners, recognizing the emotional aspect of buying a home.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain extensive knowledge of the Bank’s programs, products, policies, and procedures, as well as strong knowledge of real estate lending practices and related areas.
  •  Loan Origination: Originate residential mortgage loans in accordance with Bank policy, secondary market guidelines, and consumer lending regulations.
  • Data Security: Adhere to the Bank’s privacy and data security policies, safeguarding sensitive information and complying with relevant regulations to protect non-public information.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of prior loan origination experience required, with documented residential mortgage loan volume of at least $15 million in the past 12 months.
  • Skills: Solid time management skills, ability to prioritize activities, and establish and maintain working relationships with team members.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, applications, and workflows.
  • Resilience: Good under pressure to successfully navigate stressful work assignments or situations efficiently and effectively and meet critical deadlines.
  • Independence: Self-motivated, driven and able to work independently.
  • Compliance: Candidates must meet and follow all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Leader Bank salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

Salary Minimum: $50,000.00 - Salary Max: $70,000.00 + Commission

The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank’s total compensation package for team members. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Leader Bank provides a variety of benefits to eligible team members, including health insurance coverage, a team member wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off and vacation.
