The Quality Engineer drives quality assurance and continuous improvement for semiconductor and telecom manufacturing. Responsibilities include maintaining ISO 9001 and TL9000 compliance, leading audits, managing CAPA and design-change reviews, enforcing ESD and cleanroom protocols, developing business continuity plans, training operators and technicians, coordinating customer audits, and maintaining traceability and quality documentation.

Plans, designs, integrates, tests, and deploys telecom network solutions. Builds configuration and capacity plans, validates connectivity and service functionality, manages migrations from legacy systems, and supports OSS/EMS integration for provisioning and fault management.

Develop, calibrate, and validate RF propagation models for Wi‑Fi, 5G NR, and NTN. Perform propagation studies, coverage and capacity planning, build simulation environments, conduct field surveys, create coverage heatmaps, and develop automation tools. Collaborate with RF design and systems teams to optimize network throughput and performance.

Design, test, integrate, and troubleshoot RF hardware and components. Conduct targeted research, support product/technology transfers, verify and modify hardware in production/field environments, and collaborate globally to maintain radio products.

Develop automated production-level test solutions and functional test software for optical components and PICs, support manufacturing partners with troubleshooting, production data monitoring, GRR, failure analysis, and adapt R&D test stations to high-volume manufacturing while interfacing with cross-functional product teams.

Lead design, development, and maintenance of MES (Opcenter/Camstar) solutions. Convert stakeholder requirements to technical designs, write and review code, troubleshoot and optimize applications, and mentor an offshore development team through the full SDLC.

Lead mechanical design from concept through 3D modeling, drawings, assembly, and verification. Collaborate with test and software teams, technicians, and hardware engineers to develop and improve test stations and hardware. Provide complete documentation, BOMs, and ensure thermal, environmental, safety, and regulatory performance. Hybrid on-site work as needed.

Lead development and industrialization of assembly processes for high-power InP/GaAs semiconductor lasers. Drive process design, die-attach simulation, automation and tooling, failure analysis, reliability testing, qualification, and transition to volume manufacturing while mentoring engineers and collaborating cross-functionally.

Develop, characterize, and transfer automated assembly processes for high-volume manufacturing. Lead DOE-based experiments, FMEA/RCCA, tooling design, documentation, technician training, equipment procurement and qualification, and process validation to enable manufacturing ramp.

Develop, characterize, and qualify high-volume optoelectronic assembly processes from concept through transfer to manufacturing. Design and run DOE experiments, perform FMEA and root-cause analysis, design tooling/fixtures, document processes, train technicians, and oversee equipment procurement, calibration, and maintenance.
