The Data Engineer at BenchPrep will play a pivotal role in the finance team, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, analyzing data, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include managing accounting functions, analyzing expenditures, reviewing transactions, preparing financial statements, and assisting in budget preparation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5-8 years of experience in accounting or auditing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Manage accounting function including account reconciliations, journal entries, AR, AP, and Billing. Analyze company expenditures, ensure compliance with GAAP, and assist in financial statement preparation. Collaborate with team to improve accounting processes and procedures.
