About the Program

Join a critical Department of Defense (DoD) program supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). We provide consolidated application support and technical services across 300+ enterprise applications throughout the DLA’s IT enterprise. Services span NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments hosted on-premises, in DISA facilities, and commercial cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).

Key Responsibilities

As the Lead System Administrator, you will:

  • Ensure stable and secure operations of enterprise systems and networks

  • Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communications

  • Provide expert-level application and web administration (IIS, Apache, ColdFusion, etc.)

  • Support database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)

  • Administer middleware systems (Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, APEX)

  • Lead project and task order management, risk, and performance management

  • Ensure compliance with DoD RMF, STIGs, and 8570/8140 certification requirements

  • Conduct system performance analysis and recommend system configurations or upgrades

  • Develop and implement automated tools, procedures, and training to enhance system admin efficiency

  • Provide local and remote maintenance, upgrades, and installations

  • Oversee system and resource optimization and guide other system administrators

  • Support large-scale application networking, load balancing, and fault tolerance

  • Conduct vulnerability management and remediation

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

  • 10+ years of specialized experience in Information Processing, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software

  • IT-I Critical Sensitive or Tier 5 (T5) clearance at the time of proposal submission

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills

Experience leading technical teams supporting an enterprise Oracle Fusion Middleware platform serving 3,000+ users

  • In-depth knowledge of DoD security and compliance frameworks (e.g., RMF, STIGs)
  • Experience working in hybrid IT environments (on-prem, DISA, and commercial cloud)

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of mentoring technical staff

  • Scripting and automation expertise (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
