Reddit's growth is driving a rapid expansion of its world-wide team and the need for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to support the global sales organization through the next several stages of growth. This role will report into the Go-to-Market Strategy organization, and support our major Go-to-Market Systems initiatives. 

The Role

As a Sr. Program Manager on the Go-to-Market Systems team, you will play a crucial role in empowering our sales organization by building best in class sales systems. Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with internal team members and cross-functional partners to drive major system projects geared towards improving seller efficiency and driving revenue growth. 

What you'll do

  • Enable organization transformation through the management of complex programs that span across multiple teams and organizations. 
  • Guide strategic organizational planning, such as quarterly and annual planning activities.
  • Drive a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring that the program scope, status, risks, dependencies, and timelines are being communicated effectively across all levels of the organization. 
  • Develop and apply the appropriate program management methodologies, tools, and processes needed to support the team through all phases of planning and execution.
  • Anticipate risk areas and bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance tradeoffs between business needs and technical / resource constraints. 
  • Facilitate steering committees and executive review meetings as needed to ensure executive alignment is maintained. 
  • Establish a framework for tracking goals and alignment to OKRs, program statuses, and metrics to measure business impact.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant program / project management experience.
  • 3+ years of technical program management experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business leads, 
  • Ability to tailor communication style to technical and non-technical audiences, and to different levels of leadership.
  • Extensive experience driving strategic, cross-functional initiatives that support top level company goals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
  • Domain knowledge in business systems needed to support core sales, service, or marketing functions.
  • Ability to understand technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program, and a willingness to deep dive into complex business problems to identify gaps. 

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira / Confluence) a plus
  • Experience leading major Salesforce.com projects a plus
  • PMP certification a plus

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:

$180,200$252,300 USD
