Team Description:

Consumer Product Marketing is a fairly new function for Reddit. Aside from core end-to-end Product Marketing functions like supporting our product strategy and leading Go-To-Market efforts, you’ll also play an important role in shaping what Consumer PMM looks like on Reddit.

Role Description:

Reddit Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager (Sr. PMM) to lead product marketing for our consumer and community products. In this role, you will drive strategy and execution to bring new product features to market, fostering deep engagement within the Reddit community. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, research, design, communications, and creative to drive adoption and ensure a seamless experience for users across the platform.

This role involves shaping the go-to-market strategy, owning execution, and ensuring that the value of Reddit’s products is communicated effectively to the right audiences. As the go-to-market owner, you will empower redditors worldwide to engage deeply with conversations and connections in their communities.

What you'll do:

1. Community & User Understanding

  • Lead inbound product marketing for new features and experiences across community-centric surfaces like feeds, post pages, search, moderator tools, and more.
  • Shape go-to-market strategies, including positioning, narratives, and objectives, leveraging competitive assessments, opportunity sizing, segmentation, and market insights.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Reddit’s community architecture and core user journeys.
  • Deeply understand Reddit's community dynamics, including its moderator ecosystem and their critical role in platform governance.

2. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across Product, Community, Communications, User Research, Data Science, and International to create features that connect users to the value of Reddit.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align community strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Clearly communicate product vision, strategy, and execution plans to leadership and cross-functional teams.

3. Go-to-Market Planning & Execution

  • Simplify complex features for target audiences and create compelling narratives for community engagement.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, including beta testing, awareness campaigns, and off-platform messaging, in partnership with community marketing and cross-functional teams.
  • Create product overviews and go-to-market materials in collaboration with product management and communications teams.

4. Adoption Analysis & Growth Mindset

  • Leverage adoption data and user sentiment to extract and package actionable insights that inform future product directions.
  • Analyze the impact of marketing activations and community sentiment, refining strategies to maximize effectiveness.
  • Employ a growth-focused mindset to identify opportunities for driving user adoption and retention.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing, growth marketing, product management, or strategy/consultant roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Product Management in community-focused products.
  • Deep understanding of Reddit’s ecosystem, including its community structure, conversation-focus, and moderator roles. (Avid redditor a strong plus)
  • Strong storytelling skills, translating technical features into cohesive community narratives and marketing assets.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, cross-functional teams, and deliver in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to prioritize personas and inform targeted marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional written communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Clearly articulate product vision and strategies to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Passionate about Reddit’s mission and dedicated to enhancing the community experience across the platform.

Pay Transparency:

This job posting may span more than one career level.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:

$164,200$229,900 USD
