About the position: 

As a Senior Product Manager for Platform at G-P, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform strategy and driving the success of products that form the foundation for our service offerings. You will navigate both the technical and business aspects of product management, focusing on developing scalable, high-performing platform solutions that address real customer problems and promote broad market adoption.

You will be expected to communicate effectively with all functional areas within the company while serving as both internal and external evangelist for your product area. What you can expect to do: 

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our platform products, focusing on key platform services, including dynamic form generation, product journey orchestration, component libraries, design systems, and frontend developer tools.
  • Drive the evolution of product journey orchestration tools, ensuring they enable efficient, scalable operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver a robust and reusable component library and design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the platform.
  • Enhance the developer experience by building tools and frameworks that streamline frontend development, improve productivity, and reduce operational overhead.
  • Oversee the navigation architecture of the platform, ensuring a seamless and scalable user experience that supports both internal teams and external customers.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define platform architecture, APIs, and integrations, ensuring alignment with business and user needs.
  • Contribute to the platform's overall strategy, enabling the scalability and usability of core features that drive business growth and user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across functions, building strong relationships with engineering, marketing, sales, legal, UX, customer success, and support teams to ensure a cohesive product strategy.
  • Act as a product evangelist, both internally and externally, articulating the vision and value proposition of our platform products.

What we are looking for: 

  • Product Management Expertise: Extensive experience in managing complex platform services, especially in areas such as workflow management, orchestration tools, and UI / UX frameworks.
  • Internal Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work closely with internal customers, especially PMs of business applications. Skilled in building strong relationships, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating to ensure alignment.
  • Prioritization and Decision-Making: Excellent skills in managing and prioritizing requirements, particularly in situations with conflicting needs. Ability to balance multiple priorities and make strategic, value-driven decisions.
  • Effective Communication: Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse cross-functional teams and providing clear updates and feedback loops.
  • Documentation and Requirements: Expertise in creating detailed and clear product requirement documents (PRDs) and specifications, ensuring comprehensive and understandable documentation.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking. Proficient in analyzing market trends and user feedback to inform product strategy.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in defining and tracking KPIs and metrics to measure platform performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Technical Background: Solid technical foundation, preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (M.S. or MBA) are a plus.
  • Expert in facilitating teams to break down work - Break complex problems into clear, actionable use cases with examples defined. Skilled in techniques like example mapping to align teams on requirements and edge cases, ensuring clarity in scope and acceptance criteria for development and QA.
  • Experience with SaaS industry
