Role Value Proposition

  • Responsible for working with product development and pricing to ensure our Accident & Health, Pet, and Whole Life products remain competitive in National Accounts and Regional Business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Opportunity Support
  • Best-in-class training (internal and external) Support
  • Serve as Industry Leader for Accident & Health Product Suite, Pet, and Whole Life Insurance
  • Serve as key contact with consultants and brokers
  • Subject Matter Expertise and Competitive Intelligence for Accident & Health, Pet and Whole Life Products
  • Enhance partnerships by building, growing, and maintaining relationships with sales partners, intermediaries, and peers
  • Promote positive culture within assigned product vertical and the Center of Excellence (COE) team
  • Compliance with policy guidelines and adherence to assigned budgets, as applicable, including 30-day expense reimbursement submissions


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
Required:

  • College or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Accident & Health Industry experience.


Preferred:

  • 5+ years Accident & Health Industry knowledge (UW, Claims, Sales Process)
  • Knowledge of all Accident & Health product lines preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Pet, and Whole Life a plus
  • Strong knowledge competitors and Industry Best Practices
  • Ability to create strong internal and external partnerships
  • Active Life and Health License or willing to obtain within 6 months of starting the position


Work Arrangement: Virtual however, needs to be commutable distance to the New York City, Bridgewater, NJ locations for occasional in office meetings.
The wage range for applicants for this position is $110,000. This role is also
eligible for the sales incentive compensation. MetLife offers a
comprehensive benefits program, including healthcare benefits, life
insurance, retirement benefits, parental leave, legal plan services and paid
time off. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
