Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding product and transactional attorney to join our legal team supporting ServiceNow’s rapidly growing product teams.  This attorney will be primarily responsible for taking the lead on structuring and negotiating some of our most complex strategic technology transactions, as well as advising on a wide variety of product development and release matters, including advising on product-specific privacy, security, compliance, and regulatory issues. The position can be based in one of our U.S. ServiceNow offices or a remote U.S. location.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
  • Current membership in good standing of a U.S. state bar.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a technology company advising clients on complex technology transactions.
  • Experience providing product counseling in the technology space, preferably for SaaS products.
  • Knowledge and understanding of key IP, privacy, data security, and AI/ML legal issues and regulations.
  • Strong orientation as a team-player and a bias for sharing information.
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize workload to set goals and meet deadlines in a fluctuating and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to distil complex issues clearly and communicate well both one-on-one and in groups, and in internal and external contexts.

Not sure if you meet every qualification? We still encourage you to apply! We value inclusivity, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds, including non-traditional paths. Unique experiences enrich our team, and the willingness to dream big makes you an exceptional candidate.

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
