Overview

About the Role - We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager who will own the vision, strategy and overall execution for our next generation in-store checkout experiences. 


About the Team - Fulfillment is focused on ensuring that supply and demand is balanced across the Instacart platform and that our shoppers and retailers have the tools to pick, pack and deliver high quality orders.

This role would live within Enterprise Fulfillment which creates enterprise-grade logistics solutions that allow our partners to flexibly and efficiently scale their online commerce and in-store operation. 


About the Job 

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a team at Instacart focused on creating new capabilities to power our retailers in their eCommerce journey. You will lead internal and external teams in designing and building technology to overhaul our in-store checkout experience. 

  • Own the process to streamline transactions in a dynamic retail environment. You’ll oversee the end to end checkout process including transaction detail definition, reconciliation, fraud rules and auditing 
  • Create and manage a checkout platform for multiple retailers to plug into. You’ll build a platform and introduce a customization layer to appeal to various retailer needs
  • Responsible for driving a seamless experience for shoppers to effectively checkout out product in the store context


About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in product management
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B product management or in client services
  • Experience working in a fast paced startup environment strongly preferred
