About the Role
Are you a highly strategic and creatively driven marketer with a passion for building beloved brands? Instacart is looking for a Senior Manager, Brand Campaigns to join our dynamic Brand team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping how Instacart connects with millions of consumers, owning the strategy, development, and execution of high-impact brand campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and preference.

The Instacart Brand Marketing team is responsible for defining and building a beloved brand that fuels growth and builds long-term equity with consumers. Our mission is to bring the Instacart brand to life through impactful brand experiences and campaigns that drive engagement, acquisition, and a deeper understanding of our unique value proposition.
About the Job- Lead Campaign Strategy: Develop and champion comprehensive 360-degree brand campaign strategies from insight to execution, ensuring clear alignment with overarching brand vision and key business objectives.
- Drive Integrated Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of brand campaigns across a diverse range of channels including TV, digital video, social media, OOH, audio, and experiential activations.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams such as Creative, Media, Performance Marketing, Product Marketing, Legal, and PR to ensure seamless campaign development and launch.
- Champion Brand Storytelling: Guide the development of compelling creative that resonates emotionally with our target audience, pushing creative boundaries and effectively translating Instacart's unique value proposition.
- Influence the Media Mix: Collaborate with media teams to optimize campaign reach and frequency, ensuring our brand message is delivered effectively across relevant platforms.
- Translate Insights into Action: Leverage consumer insights, market data, and campaign performance analytics to inform strategic decisions, optimize ongoing campaigns, and continuously refine our approach.
- Manage Agency Partnerships: Oversee external agency relationships, ensuring strong collaboration, efficient workflows, and delivery of high-quality work within budget and timelines.
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in brand management or brand marketing, with a strong focus on campaign strategy and execution, preferably within a consumer tech, CPG, or fast-paced agency environment.
- Go-to-Market Expertise: Demonstrable experience leading complex, integrated go-to-market strategies for significant brand initiatives or product launches.
- Strategic & Creative Thinking: A proven ability to balance strategic thinking with creative vision, translating business goals into compelling brand narratives and breakthrough campaigns.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present and influence at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Project Management Prowess: Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines, and thriving in a dynamic, lean environment.
- Collaborative Leader: A natural collaborator who excels at building consensus and leading diverse cross-functional teams towards shared goals.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using data and insights to inform strategy, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive continuous optimization.
- Adaptability: Nimble, resourceful, and detail-oriented, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly in a fast-evolving industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience managing large-scale, high-profile campaigns (e.g., Super Bowl, Olympics).
- Prior experience in the grocery, delivery, or e-commerce space.
- Familiarity with brand tracking studies and marketing mix modeling.
