We are seeking a highly-talented and adaptable Senior Manager of Process Management to join the Capital One Shopping team, with a focus on scalable process enhancements and international expansion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for process development and problem solving.
The role will encompass a variety of areas and activities, including process development and risk management, control creation and testing and reporting/communications. You will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each time. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. General Responsibilities:

• Influence, manage, and own process management activities required of Shopping including PLA/PRA assessments, process and control creation and validation, audit activities, etc.
• Serve as well-managed lead for Shopping's international expansion, documenting new and changing processes and controls and ensuring we meet compliance requirements
• Influence horizontal engagement and adoption of compliant privacy and data management practices across Shopping products
• Support Shopping's well-managed agenda by aiding in risk assessments, problem solving to remediate issues, create efficiencies, and reduce risk
• Documenting risks, results, and issues and working with internal partners on remediation plans
• Partnering with Shopping team leads and enterprise partners, to ensure clear communication of project requirements
• Serve as point of contact for risk and audit partners
• Providing subject matter expertise on processes when representing the department in projects and other meetings
• Collaborate with Shopping team to advise on risk, process, and data management requirements and process for new intent, initiatives, and Enterprise requests
• Apply sound inquiry and analysis to make recommendations and decisions
• Be intellectually curious to question the obvious, explore options, and develop alternatives

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Human Resources or Economics
• At least 2 years of experience in Process management
• At least 2 years of experience in Project management
• At least 2 years of experience in Relationship management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems
• Process Management (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma), Compliance (i.e. CRCM, CIPP, etc.), Business Process Management experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Process management
• At least 5 years of experience in Project management
• At least 5 years of experience in Complex problem solving
• At least 5 years of experience in Relationship management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $140,600 - $160,400 for Sr Manager, Process Management
Chicago, IL: $140,600 - $160,400 for Sr Manager, Process Management
McLean, VA: $154,600 - $176,400 for Sr Manager, Process Management
New York, NY: $168,700 - $192,500 for Sr Manager, Process Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
