The IT Business Systems Analyst serves as a strategic bridge between business units and IT departments, analyzing and optimizing business systems processes within the organization. This role focuses on identifying areas for improvement by evaluating the effectiveness of business systems tools and platforms while ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capabilities.

What you'll do: 
  • Lead in-depth analysis of existing business systems tools and workflows to identify improvement opportunities and create baseline measurements to track improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business systems needs and collect feedback on pain points within current frameworks.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for IT implementation.
  • Evaluate different business systems platforms based on documented requirements and recommend optimal solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage implementation processes in coordination with IT teams and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver sessions to employees across different departments.
  • Provide ongoing support to address user questions and create self-service resources for common business systems challenges.
  • Monitor platform usage data to identify trends and generate reports for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions to new business systems by developing change management strategies and addressing potential resistance.
  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans for cross-organizational business systems that align with broader business goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT departments and business units, coordinating cross-functional projects.
  • Resolve conflicts and misalignments between teams in a diplomatic manner.
  • Enhance documentation practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and ease of understanding.
  • Models skills and behavior that demonstrate commitment to organizational values.
  • Consistently demonstrates remote work best practices.
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communication, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in roles involving business systems analysis, business analysis, or IT operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret business systems data.
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing or managing business systems platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Technical knowledge of different business systems technologies, including cloud-based solutions.
  • Project management experience, particularly with technology implementation projects.
  • Understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with capacity to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in facilitating effective cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in relevant areas (ITIL, Agile, project management, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools
  • Background in process improvement or organizational development
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts
  • Experience in a client-facing or customer service role
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace for changes, feature enhancements, content/training creation
  • Experience in security or compliance environments

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

$90,700$160,000 USD
