Workiva is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to work as part of the Global Sales Communications and Creative Operations organization . You will work cross-functionally within the Go-To-Market organization to create best-in-class learning experiences that drive global revenue growth. You’ll assist with the refinement and buildout of a broad catalog of curricula and content to support the skills, knowledge, and processes that drive the Workiva go-to-market team using a broad range of delivery modes.

What You’ll Do

  • Write copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts, with an expectation of quality assurance 

  • Develop and deliver courses including online, hybrid, and face to face

  • Develop project plans and coordinate projects 

  • Research instructional design theories and tools, and emerging technologies and concepts

  • Integrate instructional technologies into programs, including graphics, illustrations, activities, case studies, and simulations

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of related experience in Instructional Design

  • Familiarity and working knowledge of learning management platforms and content creation tools, i.e. Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Canva, Highspot, Workramp, Degreed, etc.

  • Experience with developing globalized content

  • Experience supporting sales organizations from an instructional design lens

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud SaaS, banking, or financial services industry experience

  • Proven expertise in designing self-guided and instructor-led development solutions that scale

  • Ability to translate client expectations and needs into learning deliverables

  • Knowledge and experience; a level of motion graphics

  • Awareness of MEDDPICC qualification methodology

  • Familiarity with Command of the Message, Sale, and Plan methodology or equivalent sales methodology

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions 

  • Up to 10% Travel 

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $74,000.00 - $118,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
