As part of our mission, we’re seeking a Senior Growth & Product Marketing Manager to spearhead impactful marketing campaigns, refine our messaging, and drive growth through creative, data-driven strategies.

This role is fully remote with quarterly in-person collaboration, working closely with our customers—some of the fastest-growing eCommerce companies in the country. If you thrive in dynamic environments, excel at crafting compelling narratives, and enjoy balancing creative and operational elements of marketing, this position is for you.

Core Functions

Demand Generation 

  • Design and Execute Campaigns: Develop attention-grabbing multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition across email, SMS, events, affiliate and influencer channels.
  • Virtual Events: Help us scale up our webinar & virtual conference channel to drive interest and engagement among the SMB audience. Host/moderate engaging webinars, leveraging a network of thought leaders and speakers in the logistics space.
  • Email & Inbound Marketing: Build and execute lifecycle marketing strategies tailored to every stage of the buyer’s journey. Consistently build on our inbound and outbound database campaigns and grow the database over time through proven lead generation strategies.
  • Affiliate & Influencer: Partner with eCommerce influencers, affiliate partners and trade associations to expand demand generation beyond our network.

Product Marketing

  • Customer Insights and Messaging: Craft and refine brand and product messaging to address customer pain points and differentiate our solution effectively. Conduct ongoing customer research to inform messaging and campaigns.
  • Go-to-Market: Own GTM process in collaboration with VP Marketing, ensuring new features and product positioning aligns with needs of the customer.
  • Website: Manage relationships with external website agencies to continuously optimize the Saltbox website, driving performance enhancements through strategic content updates and modular improvements aligned with business objectives.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with sales, product and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Customer Experience Consistency: Work closely with the paid growth marketing, content marketing and community leads to achieve a consistent and delightful customer experience.

Analytics and Strategy Refinement

  • Analyze Insights: Use customer data, market trends, and campaign performance to inform and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Optimize Campaigns: Test and iterate on messaging, offers, and strategies to improve conversion rates and ROI. Leverage AI and the latest martech to improve deliverability, engagement and response rates.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor industry shifts to ensure our strategies meet the evolving needs of SMBs scaling their businesses.

What You Bring

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or product marketing, with expertise in email/database marketing and webinars.
  • Messaging Mastery: A strong ability to craft compelling narratives and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Google Analytics).
  • Data-Driven Approach: Demonstrated success in using customer insights and performance data to refine marketing strategies and deliver results.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and design teams.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: A dynamic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments (eCommerce or SaaS experience is a bonus!).

We understand that each individual brings unique skills and experiences to the table, which is why our salary ranges are tailored to the role, level, and location of the job.
