What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with a SCRUM team, including front-end engineers, Ruby on Rails engineers, and Product Owners
- Contribute to the architecture of the front-end stack, ensuring high standards for code quality, performance, security and maintainability
- Design and implement efficient, reusable and scalable front-end components using Vue.js
- Mentor and guide other members of the team through code reviews, technical guidance and best practices
- Evaluate designs, suggest UI/UX improvements, and enhance the overall user experience
- Create clear, comprehensive documentation in collaboration with Product teams
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering leadership, including the CTO and VPs
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; alternatively, 6+ years of experience building successful products and platforms on an engineering team without a technical degree
- A strong academic and professional track record of achievements
- 6–7+ years of experience with JavaScript and ES6+
- Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Experience with raw CSS and CSS frameworks
- Hands-on experience writing tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Proven experience working collaboratively on an engineering team
