Senior Director, Total Rewards

  • Lead Global Total Rewards at Bonterra , including global compensation and benefits, executive compensation, job architecture, compensation cycle systems and processes, promotion processes, long term incentive programs, equity planning, incentive and recognition programs.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategies and programs that align with the company’s business objectives and enhance employee engagement and retention.

  • Ensure Total Rewards programs take into consideration benchmarking of peer company and industry competitors, goal setting and metric development, performance and talent.

  • Championing our human and high-performing culture; through our total rewards philosophy, strategies and programs, management, and overall reward assessments.

  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs and identify optimization opportunities.

  • In partnership with the Internal Communications Director, design and execute a communication plan aimed at engaging employees and enhancing their understanding of our total rewards offerings.  

Compensation

  • Develop and maintain compensation programs including job architecture, level analysis, salary structures, equity analysis, and retention programs.

  • Ensure company-wide compensation philosophy and strategy maintains market competitiveness, supports our mission, values, and business objectives, and enhances engagement and retention.

  • Design and administer salary structures, bonus programs, equity and incentive plans.

  • Continuously evaluate and adjust compensation structures to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

  • Conduct research, quantitative analysis, data modeling, and the presentation of data to senior leadership to see beyond the numbers and understand trends to drive strategic decisions around total rewards.

  • Provide thought leadership to the business on compensation issues including new hire packages, performance recognition, incentive plans, retention, and overall compensation structure.

  • Lead the annual compensation planning process, including salary reviews, bonus structure determinations and equity grants.

  • Continually optimize our job architecture framework for scale and effectiveness in attracting, developing and retaining talent.

  • Partner with Finance and Talent Development teams on planning and execution of performance-based merit increases and salary adjustments, in line with a pay-for-performance philosophy and our talent management processes

Benefits Administration

  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.

  • Enhance the company's benefits and wellness programs to support employee well-being and work-life balance.

  • Evaluate and negotiate benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

  • Ensure benefits compliance with local laws and regulations in international locations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, leading internal and external market analysis, equity programs and competitive rewards, employee benefits (medical/dental/401k) and other reward initiatives.

  • Strategic mindset with a knack for transforming ideas into impactful total rewards initiatives.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with a creative flair to balance data with actionable insights, recommendations and insights.

  • Strong consultative skills and highly effective in communicating clearly and persuasively with excellent influencing skills.

Compensation:

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.

US compensation range: $180,000 - $220,000 USD. This role is eligible for an annual bonus.

Please note that the compensation range specified in this job posting is applicable to candidates based in the United States. For international applicants, actual salary offers may vary based on the local market compensation standards and will be determined in accordance with regional considerations, including but not limited to applicable laws, cost of living, and industry norms.
