Job Description
ServiceNow seeks a proven, experienced sales operations professional to support the Enterprise sales team. As a Sales Operations Manager, you will work closely with the VP of Enterprise sales, first and second line sales managers, in all aspects of the business related to forecasting, reporting, operational cadence, headcount tracking, annual planning, and quota allocation. This individual will act as a trusted business partner and advisor to the sales organization, continually focusing on process improvement and sales efficiency.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Partner with the Enterprise sales leaders to drive forecast and operational cadence
  • Lead Enterprise sales annual planning activities including growth projections, headcount and opex planning, territory & quota setting and coverage optimization
  • Support the weekly top-line forecast process including attending sales leadership forecast meetings, performing pipeline analytics, and driving adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and metrics in support of meeting key sales initiatives and targets
  • Support quarterly business review meetings
  • Update Onboarding/offboarding for sales participants
  • Understand sales go-to-market strategy and identify resourcing initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to automate / streamline tasks utilizing ServiceNow workflows
  • Work cross-functionally on projects related to AMS objectives and priorities


Qualifications
To be successful in this role:

  • 5+ years proven experience of Sales Operations in a software sales organization
  • Organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and change-driven environment.
  • Proven experience with annual planning activities including quota allocation
  • Strong intellect, creative problem solving, effective communication with colleagues and willingness to roll up sleeves to improve performance.
  • Partnered with sales leaders, supporting forecasting and reporting requests
  • Proficient in the use of sales methodologies and sales force automation tools
  • Understanding of sales commission plans
  • Proficient in PPT, Word and Excel


For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $107,400 - $187,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
