About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire a Vice President to join the Distribution team’s Southwest U.S. region. This high-performing leader will oversee all aspects of wholesaling investment products to registered representatives. Reporting into the Senior Vice President or Managing Director, this role will work amongst a talented team of professionals who are making an impact at iCapital. We are looking for someone who is both strategic and hands on, and able to manage multiple clients while developing new relationships.  

Responsibilities

  • Leverage a consultative sales process to acquire new relationships, expand existing client relationships, and service existing clients.      
  • Educate advisors on the merits of structured investments as part of client portfolios.   
  • Continue to self-educate and be able to discuss our 200+ monthly offerings. 
  • Work in close partnership with home offices and issuer partners on new offerings. 
  • Analyze regional and product sales trends within participating broker-dealer firms and among individual Financial Advisors. 
  • Onboard new clients to iCapital’s best-in-class network to support business growth.   
  • Travel regularly in the market to meet with advisors and clients to support new and existing business.
  • Utilize contact management system to capture information and schedule follow up activities. 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working within the investment industry in a client facing capacity (e.g., external wholesaler, internal wholesaler, relationship manager, product specialist)     
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and follow a rigorous sales process   
  • Able to sell and provide support for a diverse platform of structured investments and other Defined Outcome offerings 
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are required  
  • Experience covering large independent broker-dealers such as Ameriprise is preferred.             

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
