iCapital is looking for a candidate to join its growing Research and Due Diligence team. This role will focus on content creation, client engagement, and evaluating market conditions on private capital funds. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of industry trends in private equity, private credit, real estate, and real assets.

 Responsibilities

  • Lead workflows across the Research and Education team, with an emphasis on independent private markets analysis and collaboration across internal stakeholders including the Sales, Marketing, Origination, and Investment teams.
  • Develop and produce insightful collateral, including private fund research and competitive intelligence, to support broader research initiatives.
  • Product Strategy and Support (30-40%):
    • Partner with senior due diligence team members and external stakeholders to develop and execute on investment product launches.
    • Serve as the product lead, develop a marketing plan for new product launches, partner with client teams to conduct demand assessments, and execute marketing plans by partnering across multiple lines of business functions.
    • Own product specific research including performance analysis, market commentary, and product positioning.
  • Sales Enablement (30-40%):
    • Serve as a key point of contact for the Sales team to arrange calls and meetings, manage client data and information requests, and identify and address concerns.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to develop, enhance, and maintain compelling product materials, presentations, and client-facing content.
    • Respond to product-related inquiries from external and internal stakeholders, demonstrating product knowledge and broader market perspective.
  • Reporting and Analytics (10-20%):
    • Develop and maintain reports tracking competitive landscape, investment performance, and business development initiatives.
    • Utilize data platforms (i.e. S&P Capital IQ, Preqin, Pitchbook, and Bloomberg) to generate market and product specific analytics.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of product specialist, internal sales, or investor relations experience in the alternatives space
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or in a related discipline is required
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of the team
  • Excellent client service aptitude and attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Tableau, and Private Markets data platforms

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $145,000 to $165,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
