As the Product Manager , you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our network element portfolio. Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing and executing strategies for profitable growth, exploring new market segments, and maintaining clear roadmaps for our products. You will collaborate closely with the RBC and engage directly with customers to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Your leadership and vision will be key in driving the success of our PLM team and contributing to the overall growth of Nokia of America Corporation.
 

Responsibilities
  • Lead the product teams and manage all aspects of product line management for network elements, including internal development and OEM partnerships.
  • Oversee and drive the strategy for our network element portfolio, focusing on profitable growth and market expansion.
  • Maintain and communicate strategic roadmaps for short-term and long-term goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage with customers, understand their feature requests, and collaborate with the RBC to develop winning solutions.
  • Participate in RFQs, ensuring accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries and proposals.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the PLM team, encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.
     
Qualifications

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree.
  • 5+ years of coherent optical product/ networking  design experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of leading and driving successful product strategies.
  • Strong understanding of network element technologies, market trends, and customer needs in the telecommunications industry.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and diverse team environment, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities for profitable growth.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, ensuring efficient execution of product initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for customer engagements and industry events.
