In this role, you will champion and own our application integration strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity between our products and services and a wide range of third-party applications. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define and deliver a scalable, resilient service platform to meet the demands of a growing company.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product strategy for our Application infrastructure and services, aligned with the overall company vision and customer needs. 
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer feedback.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the short-term and long-term strategy for application infrastructure and services such as SMS, email and event-driven messaging platforms, the service mesh and other 3rd party and open source technologies that developers need to run their services.
  • Product Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and external partners
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our  security, compliance, and R&D teams to ensure the success of the platform.
  • Monitor and analyze the success of delivered products, identifying areas for improvement and growth.


Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 3+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably in a SaaS company plus 5+ years of experience in a technical role
  • Strong engineering background: understanding of APIs, layer 7 networking, event-driven architecture, and other integration technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Service mesh and data plane platforms, such as Envoy
  • Hands-on experience with Event-messaging and communication platforms, such as Pulsar, and SMS and email providers, such as Twilio and Sendgrid
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with open-source technologies and communities.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and technologies.


Special Sauce* (Nice to Haves)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS certifications are a plus

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

Pay Range

$146,000$234,000 USD
