Job Description
The Team:
This team is part of the ServiceNow platform and provides cloud infrastructure services and APIs to manage the full lifecycle of applications and databases. The team uses DevOps tools and processes to automate provisioning and day 2 operations such as upgrades and backup/restore. We provide a world class platform with a deep focus on efficiency, reliability, and observability to operate and grow alongside the needs of our business units and customers.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and deeply technical Product Manager who is passionate about providing world-class cloud provisioning services. You will be the Product lead for provisioning that enables internal teams to deploy and manage the lifecycle of their applications. You will work across the ServiceNow managed cloud and public clouds to serve the needs of commercial and regulated industries.
This role is highly collaborative, working with product teams, support, DevOps, SREs and experienced engineers to build high quality services and provide expert guidance to internal teams.

Deliver Customer Value

  • Serve your primary customers who are internal ServiceNow teams deploying databases and applications as part of the ServiceNow platform
  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow internal teams to understand their needs and manage dependencies
  • Evangelize the provisioning capabilities to drive awareness, enablement, and provide guidance to internal teams
  • Create exceptional developer and operations experiences that allow teams to successfully deploy and support their applications
  • Become a domain expert by understanding the latest infrastructure trends, storage technologies, DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code approaches


Provide Team Leadership

  • Establish the vision and product strategy for a mission critical part of the platform
  • Work across product, DevOps and engineering teams to establish common usage patterns and provide enablement
  • Manage various stakeholders and set product priorities and build consensus
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute on the product backlog and manage dependencies
  • Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries


Have a Significant Impact

  • Drive enhancements and efficiencies for services that are used by every ServiceNow customer
  • Help define and drive the future of cloud infrastructure services as we make ServiceNow available on additional public cloud platforms
  • Be part of a high-performing Product team that is accountable, empowered, and works together to deliver outcomes that matter
  • Influence other product teams by being the expert in your domain


Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent in a technical role
  • Experience building and operating enterprise-class provisioning services as part of a highly scalable platform
  • Domain expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps and Backup/Restore operations
  • Strong prioritization skills that are data-driven and based on customer needs
  • Experience triaging issues and driving cross-team resolution
  • Demonstrated experience owning an actionable product roadmap and driving execution
  • Ability to inspire and align engineering teams to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Technical savvy and experience working with developers and architects to build low-level and highly reliable services that are part of a larger platform
  • Bonus: experience with infrastructure services on major public cloud platforms
  • Bonus: experience running services in regulated markets that require stringent compliance and certifications such as FedRAMP


FD21
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of 142,700 - $249,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
