About the RoleAs a People Operations Specialist, you’ll report to our Sr. Manager of HR Data & Systems and play a key role in ensuring a seamless, efficient experience for employees across the company. You’ll manage end-to-end HR lifecycle processes, maintain accurate and insightful people data, and optimize the systems and documentation that keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll also serve as a trusted partner to employees and cross-functional teams alike.
About YouYou care about the details, love building clean systems, and want to make a real impact behind the scenes. This role lives at the intersection of process, data, and service. You’ll keep our People systems humming, support employees with clarity and care, and help us scale smarter as we grow.
What You’ll DoYou’ll:
- Own and manage day-to-day People Ops processes—like onboarding, job changes, relocations, offboarding, leaves, and ad hoc payments
- Answer employee questions with empathy and speed across shared inboxes and Slack channels
- Keep our HR systems (like HiBob, ADP, or Workday) accurate and up-to-date with clean, complete data
- Run regular data audits to catch inconsistencies before they become problems
- Support system automations, integrations, and tools—plus help launch new ones
- Build reports and dashboards that help us visualize what’s happening across the org
- Maintain and improve documentation so others can self-serve confidently
- Collaborate with teammates across Recruiting, Payroll, Finance, IT, and more to make sure everything stays aligned
You:
- Sweat the small stuff and triple-check your work—especially when it impacts payroll or compliance
- Know your way around HR tools and Excel (and are open to learning AI tools to work smarter)
- Stay organized and operate with sound judgment, even under pressure
- Ask good questions, crave feedback, and look for ways to grow your skills
- Understand the importance of discretion, especially when handling sensitive employee info
- Communicate clearly and kindly—whether you’re troubleshooting a system issue or helping someone navigate a tricky leave
- Hands-on experience managing HR lifecycle processes in an in-house People Ops or HR team
- Proficiency with HRIS systems like HiBob, ADP, or Workday—including supporting integrations with platforms like payroll, PEOs, and IT tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills—you keep data clean and processes tight
- Familiarity with multi-state compliance requirements and a high level of discretion when working with sensitive info
- Comfort working in spreadsheets and building basic reports
- Clear, empathetic communication skills—especially when supporting employees or cross-functional partners
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment where you take ownership and follow through
- Curiosity about AI and automation tools—or hands-on experience using them to streamline repetitive work
