The Opportunity
The Senior Metrics Consultant provides administrative support and customer service to one or more large group insurance clients. The Senior Metrics Consultant works with Client Service Consultants on the account team, Account Executive and other internal partners to manage the customer relationship. The Senior Metrics Consultant performs client services tasks, but with a focus on reporting and metrics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own overall client relationship management, including handling requests, leading projects, identifying plan design alternatives, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Serve as primary liaison between clients and internal MetLife teams, coordinating communication, troubleshooting issues, and driving problem resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and satisfaction, supporting ongoing service delivery and proactive engagement.
  • Lead reporting, data analysis, and insights, including developing client reports, analyzing trends, monitoring initiatives, and escalating risks with recommended solutions.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and implementations, including product rollouts, audits, strategic planning, and development of client-specific processes.
  • Provide leadership and project oversight, including managing presentations, guiding junior staff, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring accurate system data and documentation.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in employee benefits, including knowledge of Disability & Absence, Life Insurance, and applicable Federal and State regulations
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey information both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and sound decision-making
  • Self-directed and adaptable professional who can manage multiple priorities, balance client expectations with organizational capabilities, and proactively pursue ongoing learning and development

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Group Benefits core products, particularly Life, Disability, Dental, and/or Absence management.
  • Bachelor's degree.

The expected salary range for this position is $ $89,700 - $105,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
