Marketing Director (Brand)

Full-Time (Note if position is full-time or otherwise)

Austin, TX - Monday- Thursday in our Central Austin office, Fridays remote

The Role: 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Director to join our team. In this pivotal role you will assist in the development and execution of our various strategies across platforms and mediums to enhance brand awareness, engage and educate our audience, generate leads, and drive business growth while supporting a wide variety of marketing initiatives including events, social media, customer case studies, and other key deliverables. In addition, you will support a wide variety of marketing activities to help establish, uplift, and solidify the Scorability brand.

Working side-by-side with our executive leadership, you will collaborate with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our marketing strategy aligns with and supports company objectives. This is a great role if you are a marketing enthusiast and generalist who possesses excellent content creation abilities, deep understanding of prospect/customer perspectives, solid communication skills, attention to detail, and an appetite to join a fast-growing startup at the early stages as part of a foundational marketing team.

What you’ll do:

  • Contribute to a comprehensive brand strategy which includes content, events, social, and other brand awareness initiatives, with a focus on ROI and lead generation.
  • Develop a plan and understanding of how brand initiatives fit into the broader B2B marketing/sales funnel including how to effectively measure ROI of brand initiatives as it relates to both generating awareness and impact on the funnel itself. 
  • Create and curate compelling and shareable content for various needs, including email marketing, one-pagers, website copy, customer onboarding collateral, social, blog posts, customer stories and more. 
  • In close partnership with the executive team, own the planning and execution of conferences and other brand activation events with the support of design and other team members with a willingness to attend events and advocate for the brand with prospective customers. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content and marketing goals with company objectives, goals, and needs.
  • Effectively partner with prospective and existing customers as needed to share stories, support the closing of deals, and interview for case studies and testimonials. 
  • Oversee the company’s social media strategy and accounts.
  • Conduct regular analysis of brand engagement and performance and proactively engage with leadership to offer findings and recommendations. 
  • Support a variety of comprehensive marketing activities as the business needs, with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed as we build the function from the ground up.

Experience we’re seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years proven experience in Marketing with at least 2+ years owning at least one area or a brand marketing strategy. Experience at an early-stage startup and as a people manager preferred but not required. 
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing best content marketing best practices.
  • Ability to share a diverse portfolio of brand campaign, event, and content creation examples. 
  • Proficiency in Marketing CRM and content management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creating engaging and shareable content.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency and voice across all channels, mediums, and platforms. 
  • Creative thinking and the ability to work effectively with design resources to bring campaigns and programs to life.
  • Relationship building expert with a comfort level engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly articulate how previous success has been tracked and measured over time. 
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves experience with the ability and desire to grow into a leadership role over time.
