The Role
The CodeSignal Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Automation & Campaign Manager at CodeSignal to leverage the ideal candidate’s expert-level skills in marketing automation strategy and execution to enhance the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns across the entire customer journey. Our foundation is in B2B SaaS and we are looking for a champion to work with us on our B2C journey, so the ideal candidate will have experience with both or strength in one with the demonstrated ability to quickly become an expert in the other.

Day-to-Day
- Be the subject matter expert on how to leverage email across the whole funnel (i.e. when to use an email, what type of content, who to target audience, etc.) for maximum impact
- Build, manage, and optimize emails across the user journey, and work cross-functionally to support ongoing campaigns, as well as new and existing ad-hoc and nurture requests
- Manage all incoming email requests, ensuring requests are actioned upon within set SLA's and ensure outgoing email calendar is set and prioritized based on impact
- Help to build out strategy & implementation of automated, trigger-based communications to prospects and customers to drive engagement and conversion.
- Provide recommendations for thoughtful A/B or multivariate testing to improve engagement with campaigns and drive increased results
- Monitor, measure, analyze and frequently report on email performance down to end-level conversion metrics, provide recommendations for improvements and work with Ops teams to build out reporting dashboards as needed
- Stay up to date with the latest automation/email/CRM trends, regulations, and best practices, and actively share useful updates and suggestions to help improve performance
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant marketing experience
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo, Sendgrid etc.). Preferred candidates will have experience with both B2B & B2C solutions.
- Experience with Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Experience analyzing and interpreting campaign performance and ROI
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
- A customer-first attitude and an ability to communicate value in the context of customers’ pain points
- A collaborative, helpful, and empathetic team player who is easily able to form a strong relationship with working-level counterparts
- Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What are the main goals/ responsibilities of this role?
- Marketing Automation System Management: Own and maintain marketing automation platform (Marketo), ensuring it operates seamlessly across the organization.
- Prepare for the integration and management of a new B2C marketing automation system.
- Campaign Development and Execution: Plan, design, and execute email marketing campaigns from concept to analysis, including crafting segmenting audiences and optimizing for conversions across the entire user journey (new logo, onboarding, renewal, up-sell, cross-sell, churn)
- Nurture Stream Development: Utilize your expertise to structure and implement effective prospect and customer nurture streams, enhancing lead generation, engagement, and conversion.
- Reporting and Analytics: Provide comprehensive reporting on the performance of email and nurture campaigns, utilizing data to make informed decisions and recommendations for improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure marketing automation strategies align with business goals and enhance the customer journey.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of marketing automation trends and technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve our processes, strategies, and overall marketing effectiveness.
