WHAT YOU'LL DO

Anduril is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in its Morrisville NC facility.  If selected, you will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians designing and building carbon fiber composite structures for new development and prototype aircraft.  You will translate final designs into manufacturable composite parts by creating ply kit definitions, laser projection files, and autoclave cure parameters.  Oversee and ensure the quality of manufactured parts by performing in-process inspections.  Verify the integrity and compliance of all manufacturing operations by validating manufacturing process data to specification requirements.  Support aircraft assembly operations by collaborating in the project management of part builds in a fast-paced aircraft development environment.  Your interactions will expose you to composite tooling design and manufacture, composite aircraft design and assembly, structural testing, mechanical systems integration, and eventually flight test.  The right candidate is looking for an entry-level or early-career role on a dynamic aircraft development program, and clearly expresses the qualities of a strong work ethic, ability to learn manufacturing processes and technology quickly, and has a propensity to work with their hands bringing designs to reality.
