What you will do:
- Drive the day-to-day execution of the Salesforce team using agile best practices and processes including Build and System Maintenance functions.
- Lead discovery process to identify and document client business processes and project requirements
- Participate in the full application life cycle from design to development, testing, and deployment
- Articulates best practice for more complex Salesforce use cases.
- Drives advanced declarative customizations or development for Salesforce to meet unique business needs.
- You will be the escalation point for all project leads, clients on service-related issues and take the lead in working directly with Salesforce.
- Resource management including staffing, planning and utilization.
- Work closely with team members on a project basis to ensure quality, completeness, and timeliness of all tasks
- Organises an agile team to deliver to customer requirements
- Drive continuous improvement by facilitating team retrospectives, teaching problem-solving techniques, and driving greater accountability amongst team members, within a highly global matrix setup
- Manage stakeholder expectations to manage team capacity and delivery schedules.
- Responsible for team’s commitments, and in cases of failure, communicate impact to stakeholders and suitable mitigating
- Mentor, grow and develop the SF internal team to ensure the optimum level of skillset in the team
- Support metrics development and reporting to support decision making and continuous improvement.
- Work actively with managers and project team members to identify performance issues early and provide insight and feedback.
- Build strong relationships with both internal and external teams and stakeholders
- Create and maintain key project artefacts.
- Work with vendors to ensure project deliverables (or services) are delivered as per business requirements.
- Optimize the solution release management process
What we are looking for
- Minimum of 3 years in salesforce, with skills in requirements scoping, solution design and project estimation.
- Demonstrated leadership driving technical implementations working with remote teams is a must
- Minimum of 2 years managing a skilled technical team.
- You are a very hands-on coach who knows how to manage a team to consistent success.
- Demonstrable experience with Agile projects including the adoption of Agile methods both inside and outside of software teams
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and project delivery
- Keep abreast of market trends and constantly develop your own skills
- Excellent communication skills that can span all levels of the business and are relevant, appropriate, and timely.
- Focused on achieving outcomes with high levels of initiative and drive
- A team player who builds relationships based on trust and can work cooperatively
- It is expected that Salesforce Delivery Manager will gain industry and platform specific certifications.
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with ITIL framework
Desirable:
- Experience in a Sales Cloud environment essential
- Experience in a Service Cloud and experience could environment good to have
- Prior experience in a Solution Architect role good to have
- Prior experience with Salesforce CPQ highly desired
- Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder highly desired
- PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Agile knowledge/certification good to have.
