Homeward aims to take the “what ifs” out of homebuying by creating financial products that buyers and sellers use to get certainty and convenience in the real estate market. About The Opportunity

Homeward is a home-buying service that partners directly with real estate agents to empower their clients with innovative options for buying and selling real estate. Our products help solve liquidity issues for home buyers and sellers and provide convenience and certainty in an uncertain market.  

Our teams are dedicated to helping our customers — real estate agents and their clients— see the benefits of leveraging our solutions in today’s market. Leading a sales-focused team in this rapidly growing company, you will play a key role in keeping the needs of our customers at the forefront of the business as we shape the future of real estate. 

In this role, you will lead, coach, and performance manage a high-caliber sales team to maximize the potential of enterprise partnerships. You will bring a deep understanding of the real estate industry and leverage your experience to build relationships and drive key performance indicators. You will be solution-focused and dedicated to working with our cross-functional teams to achieve company targets. 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

In this role, you will:

  • Support a high-performance team, driving adherence to systems and processes, in achieving or exceeding monthly revenue targets
  • Drive key performance indicators through coaching and performance management 
  • Develop and nurture key relationships with our current and potential partnerships 
  • Analyze key sales metrics and identify opportunities for improvement 
  • Facilitate ongoing training and development
  • Drive the sales team’s weekly and monthly meeting cadences 
  • Understand, manage, and help ensure fulfillment of expectations for our partnerships
  • Execute and be accountable for quarterly sales initiatives 
  • Help manage escalations both internally and externally with our partnerships
  • Onboard and train new hires 

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years experience in sales management with a proven track record of success
  • 5+ years experience in residential real estate sales 
  • Experience coaching real estate agents 
  • Experience in public speaking and training
  • Experience in a proptech startup or other fast paced, technology driven environment 
  • Experience selling proptech solutions to brokerages, real estate agents and/or teams aligning to drive business outcomes
  • Experience hiring and onboarding sales teams 
  • Experience working with platforms such as Salesforce, Looker, & Slack 
  • Experience working with, and leading, cross-functional teams and partners in implementations.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Compensation range: $100,000 base + uncapped commission potential
  • Remote-first environment (our Headquarters are in Austin, TX)
