The Manager, Business Development will drive enterprise growth through capital partnerships, collaborates across teams, and supports strategic initiatives to enhance revenue opportunities.
About the Role
NinjaOne is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Manager, Business Development focused on capital and strategic partnerships to drive enterprise growth through investor-led ecosystems. This role will own NinjaOne’s capital-driven partnership motion while also supporting broader strategic business development initiatives that accelerate revenue, shorten enterprise sales cycles, and scale repeatable partnership programs. This leader will work directly with venture capital and private equity firms, operating partners, and portfolio executives, translating capital relationships into tangible commercial outcomes. Internally, this role will partner closely with Sales, Alliances, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership to operationalize capital-backed opportunities across complex, multi-entity deal structures. This role is well suited for someone with exposure to capital markets, investing, or capital-adjacent business development who wants to stay close to investors while owning execution inside a high-growth SaaS company.

What You’ll be Doing
Capital Partnerships & Investor Ecosystem
- Build, manage, and expand NinjaOne’s ecosystem of venture capital and private equity relationships across growth equity, buyout firms, and platform investors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investment teams, operating partners, and portfolio executives
Source, structure, and activate capital-backed partnership opportunities, including platform and roll-up strategies
- Leverage investor relationships to drive introductions, pilots, and enterprise opportunities across portfolio companies
- Translate capital relationships into accelerated revenue, shortened deal cycles, and scalable enterprise partnership motions
Portfolio & Platform Enablement
- Identify investment-backed platforms and portfolio companies aligned with NinjaOne’s ideal customer profile
Support adoption of NinjaOne as a standardized solution across portfolio companies where applicable
- Coordinate cross-functionally to enable multi-entity deal structures, rollout strategies, and commercial alignment
- Track, prioritize, and expand opportunities across funds, platforms, and portfolio ecosystems
Partner-Led & Strategic Business Development
- Support broader strategic business development initiatives beyond capital partnerships
- Collaborate with Alliances and Sales to align partner motions with overall go-to-market strategy
- Evaluate and operationalize non-capital strategic partnerships that support enterprise growth
Deal Acceleration & Commercial Execution
- Partner with Sales to accelerate enterprise opportunities influenced by capital relationships
- Support account strategy and execution for fund-backed and platform-led opportunities
- Help structure scalable commercial models that enable portfolio-wide or multi-account adoption
Operations, Reporting & Leadership Visibility
- Track pipeline, performance, and revenue impact for capital-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities
- Maintain relationship mapping across funds, platforms, operating partners, and portfolio companies
- Prepare executive updates on partnership activity, portfolio penetration, and business impact
- Other duties as needed
About You
- Bring 6 to 10 years of experience in business development, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, or capital-adjacent roles, with direct experience working with or alongside VC and or PE firms
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of PE platform strategies, roll-ups, and portfolio dynamics, with the ability to translate capital relationships into commercial outcomes
- Possess experience supporting enterprise B2B SaaS environments and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including platform-led or multi-entity deal structures
- Exhibit credibility and confidence engaging with investors, operating partners, and senior executives, with a relationship-driven mindset and strong commercial instincts
- Own partnerships end-to-end from sourcing and relationship development through execution and measurable revenue impact
- Operate effectively as an internal partner, aligning Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and executive stakeholders around shared outcomes
- Communicate clearly and concisely with executive presence, sound judgment, and professionalism
- Thrive in a high-growth environment that requires ownership, structure, and adaptability to scale partnership motions

*Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate.
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey or Washington the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 per year.
For roles based in New York, the base salary hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 per year.
