As a Lead QA Engineer with Prestige Development Group, you will be responsible for leading one of our teams in the development of innovative software.

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Strategies: Proven experience in creating test plans and test strategies, showcasing a strategic approach to quality assurance processes.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track QA metrics, including defect density and open defect count.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products, demonstrating effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and weaknesses, suggesting actions for improvements.
  • Training and Mentoring: Experience in training new QA team members and mentoring QA resources, showcasing a commitment to team development.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management, demonstrating effective presentation skills.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience with 4 years as a QA Engineer
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience with Playwright or other automation tools is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical, critical thinker, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with software management tool (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience building a test automation suite
  • SQL Reporting Experience (Raw Queries, SSRS, Power BI, etc.) preferred
  • Financial experience a plus.
