Job Responsibilities:

Starting Pay: $20.70/hr | Benefits Available Day One | B Shift

Location: Liberty, MO

Magna is seeking a Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for cleaning office and plant areas, supporting workplace safety, and ensuring all workspaces remain clean and operational for employees across the facility.

What You'll Do
  • Clean and maintain offices, break areas, restrooms, and production areas
  • Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
  • Sweep, mop, disinfect, and sanitize work areas
  • Operate a floor scrubber to maintain plant cleanliness
  • Clean production equipment and respond to spills and workplace hazards
  • Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
  • Properly handle and dispose of waste and biohazard materials according to safety procedures
  • Support plant safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards
Qualifications
  • Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to operate a floor scrubber or willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workplace
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform frequent bending, kneeling, walking, and standing
