JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES: Analyze, develop, modify and test complex operating systems software. He will support IT Leadership and senior IT Development professionals in the analysis of software and hardware system needs, options, risks, costs, and impact on business processes and goals. He will also evaluate software products and applications, as well as independently analyze and isolate application issues and perform problem resolution. Analyze system requirements and prepare specifications by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications. Implement complex requirements for multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications. Resolve problems by devising or modifying procedures. Identify system requirements by interviewing users, interviewing and selecting vendors (if applicable), analyzing applications, evaluating existing and proposed systems, and recommending solutions. Analyze and isolate application issues and perform problem resolution. Monitor progress of software-based projects by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions. Improve systems performance by investigating problems, developing specifications, identifying trends in technology, and recommending solutions. Work on project teams to formulate and define specifications for complex software programming applications and modify existing applications. Leverage various performance engineering, UI, backend, Azure and LabWare LIMS technologies. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:. Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience. Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) Integrating LabWare LIMS with other systems using RESTful or SOAP APIs; 2) AngularJS, TypeScript and JavaScript; 3) ASP.Net, Entity framework, Dapper and dependency injection; 4) preparing test scripts for JMeter tool Api testing; 5) Azure DevOps Server and Postman; and 6) performance improvement using App-Pool recycle and throttling effect. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the United States.
Salary Range: $106,558 - $132,000/year.
