About the Role

iCapital is hiring a Vice President or Senior Vice President to join our International Client Solutions team to focus on the expansion of international clients, particularly in Latin America. This individual will prospect new clients within the Asset Management and Wealth Management industries, maintain ongoing relationships with current clients, and provide support to the internal Enterprise and International teams located in the US and abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic International Client Solutions:
    • Be the key relationship manager for a few key strategic asset and Wealth Management clients doing business internationally, with a strong focus on Latin America and US offshore.
    • Develop new and existing relationships with asset and wealth managers in the LATAM and US Offshore markets and support other relationship managers who manage similar clients located in the United States with ambitions to grow their business internationally. 
    • Lead platform and system demonstrations for new prospects, lead responses to RFPs and work collaboratively with internal and external cross-functional teams on fund launches, closes, ongoing operational support and strategic initiatives.
  • Client Solutions and International team strategy:
    • Collaborate with the Head of International Client Solutions, Head of iCapital International, other relationship managers, and senior executives across the company to drive tactical and strategic initiatives with regards to sales strategy, business development, CRM technology, and Marketing.
    • Manage and lead internal projects and develop framework and process for ongoing team management.
    • Develop presentations and analysis for internal meetings and projects.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a business development/relationship management capacity
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Must be located in Greater Miami area
  • Extensive International wealth management/alternatives experience is required
  • Hedge Fund or Private Equity experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic mindset and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated client service skills with stakeholders and clients
  • Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
