We are looking for a Head of Business Development to join Cumberland’s blockchain product development team.  This role will drive revenue growth by finding new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential clients. You will use your understanding of blockchain and finance to develop strategies that expand our customer base and enhance our market presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Market and Client Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.  Build relationships to promote our vision and increase participation on the Canton Network
  • Lead Generation and Outreach: Leverage market research and strategic prospecting to generate leads.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct presentations and live demos highlighting our product catalog.
  • Sales Process Management: Drive the sales cycle from lead qualification to closing, including negotiation and contract execution to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Feedback Loop: Collect client insights and work with the product team to ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with management team, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and achieve goals.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, leads, and sales progress in Salesforce.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Expertise: Track record of success in software sales, particularly in blockchain or financial services.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Skilled at understanding client challenges and positioning solutions effectively.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software platforms and blockchain technology.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Capable of engaging technical and executive audiences with clarity and confidence.

The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $225,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.  In addition, DRW offers a comprehensive suite of employee benefits including group medical, pharmacy, dental and vision insurance, 401k (with discretionary employer match), short and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, health savings accounts, and flexible spending accounts.
