Hello, We’re Built In

What We’re Up To

Built In is creating the largest global platform for tech professionals — a place where millions come every month to stay ahead of trends, grow their careers, and discover companies they believe in. We’re not just a job board — we’re the go-to destination for tech talent to engage with the future of their industry.

Our community spans the globe, and our 1,800+ customers range from breakout startups to Fortune 100 giants. They partner with us to tell authentic stories about their cultures, showcase opportunities, and attract the most in-demand talent — whether local, global, or remote. In doing so, Built In fuels the hiring pipelines of the world’s most innovative companies and advances the tech industry’s ability to shape a better future.

What You’ll Be a Part Of

While we’ve been around for 14 years, we operate with the urgency and ambition of a startup — shipping fast, staying close to customers, and constantly evolving. As a category leader in the tech talent marketplace, we’re looking for a sales leader who can drive performance, scale what’s working, and coach a team that’s core to our next chapter of growth.

You’ll be joining a team that values curiosity, accountability, and being good humans first. Our leadership team has worked together for 4 to 10+ years, and we’ve built a culture rooted in trust, transparency, and shared success. If you’re looking to do the best work of your career alongside people who care deeply about the mission and each other — you’ll fit right in.

We’re looking for an Enterprise Sales Manager

We’re hiring an Enterprise Sales Manager to lead our highest-impact revenue team, responsible for over 50% of company ARR. This is a key leadership role at a defining moment: Built In is evolving into an AI-first platform for tech professionals, transforming how top talent connects with opportunity.

You’ll manage a team of Enterprise Account Managers focused on retention, expansion, and growth across our most strategic customers. You'll help shape how we deliver value at scale — driving customer impact, efficiency, and revenue.

This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands enterprise customer needs, and can execute with urgency and clarity.

How you’ll contribute
  • Lead and develop a team of Enterprise Account Managers responsible for retention, expansion, and strategic growth across key accounts.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking for the enterprise segment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience to drive customer outcomes and surface growth opportunities.
  • Coach and support AMs on strategic account planning, negotiation, and executive relationship-building.
  • Develop scalable processes to improve efficiency, renewals, and upsell motions.
  • Report on performance, risks, and growth opportunities directly to senior leadership.
  • Use customer data and insights to proactively mitigate churn risk and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead regular deal reviews, forecast calls, and pipeline health check-ins.
  • Ensure CRM hygiene and accurate data capture across the team.
  • Travel to meet with key customers, attend in-person QBRs and events, and support strategic account planning as needed (estimated ~35–45%).
What you need
  • 8+ years experience in sales, 3+ years in people management and managing renewal teams—preferably in a B2B SaaS or digital platform context.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow accounts with ACVs > $100K+ and to companies with 1,000 employees that operate nationally and globally.
  • Proven track record of hitting target and consistent forecast methodology
  • Strong people management skills and proven success to ramp, performance manage and develop. This also includes creating an environment and culture to motivate and inspire your team to drive success.
  • Strong commercial acumen: you can speak the language of revenue, but always tie it back to customer value.
  • Operationally minded—comfortable building structure, systems, and accountability in a scrappy, fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional communicator and collaborator across teams and functions.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions, forecasts, and customer conversations

Our base salary range for this role is targeted at $150,000 to $160,000 per year. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation in the range of $100,000 to $110,000, based upon meeting and exceeding various goals. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

All regular, full-time employees are eligible to enroll in Built In's benefit plans, beginning the first of the month after the first day of employment. Benefits information can be located at https://builtin.com/company/built-in/benefits.

What We Value

We’re revolutionizing tech recruitment. So we question everything, because the best answers sit just to the right of a question mark. That’s our heritage as a disruptive company — as a company whose future depends on our capacity to innovate with a sense of drive, purpose and urgency. If you join Built In, you will work from this set of values:

  • Be Inclusive, Always. We’re committed to a culture where all people are respected, have a say and can be their whole selves. We will uplift and advocate for one another. Always.
  • Be Unreasonably Passionate. Our passion is borderline obsessive, and we’re ok with that. No one ever built anything great on a “meh.” We work with outsized passion to fulfill our mission.
  • Be Humble. You don’t have all the answers. Luckily, you don’t have to. Don’t worry about being right. Be humble instead.
  • Stay Curious. Curiosity is a springboard to the future. It can transform the wisp of an idea into a breakthrough. We ask “what if.” We work with wonder. It’s how we innovate.
  • Lead with Solutions. Question everything. But offer solutions as you do. Raise issues. But propose a few answers. For every hole you poke, offer a way to patch it up.
  • Own the Result. We have no time for blame or shame. When you stumble, own it, learn from it + get back to business.
  • Do More. Do more than your job description. Take initiative. Take charge. No job is beneath you, and no job is too big. Be a leader and do more — do whatever it takes.
Be Inclusive, Always

Research shows that women and other marginalized groups tend to apply to roles only when they check every point on a job description. We encourage you to apply if you meet the majority of qualifications and this role is aligned with your career trajectory.
