As a Network Performance Optimization (NPO) Engineer, you will monitor and analyze network performance, identify and diagnose root causes of issues, and implement optimization actions such as QoS adjustments, parameter tuning, and software upgrades to ensure continuous 

Responsibilities
  • Lead and serve as the primary contact for specific technical domains and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), managing project deliverables independently.
  • Engage with customers as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), offering technical guidance and insights.
  • Optimize network performance through traffic, capacity, and neighbor management to enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and end-user experience.
  • Identify and recommend new feature rollouts and conduct carrier aggregation analysis for multi-carrier networks.
  • Perform analysis and optimization for benchmarking activities (e.g., Umlaut/P3, regulatory drive tests) and validate/optimize Network Performance Optimization (NPO) tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., CM, PM, FM, OMS) to resolve issues and manage customer interactions regarding Service Level Agreement (SLA) KPIs, regulatory compliance, and benchmarking reports.
Qualifications

You Have: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in or related field with experience in Network Performance Optimization. 
  • Expertise in radio optimization for the latest SW/HW Release of Nokia 5G/4G and/or Samsung/Huawei 5G /4G Network.
  • Experience in OEM-specific tools and products, including Nokia SRAN BTS, NetAct, and/or Samsung LSMR, USM.
  • Experience in at least two RATs (5G & 4G) per OEM.
  • End-to-end correlation across Radio, Access, IP, Transport, and Core domains.to improve Customer Experience, Service KPIs.
  • Experience in spectrum refarming, 2G/3G sunset strategies, and post-optimization activities. Proficiency in data visualization & reporting tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot Tables, Power BI).
  • Experience in Radio Network Consolidation, ORAN, Cloud RAN, VRAN, Enterprise Networks, Private 5G, Massive MIMO, Network Slicing, MEC, and IoT Connectivity.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Good understanding of Managed Services Processes. Good experience in delivering managed services projects for a multi-vendor environment.
