Job Description

The new SVP Product for our Cross-Workflow Outbound Product Management team is looking for a Strategy & Operations all-star to join their management team and help them establish and drive their remit. This is a unique opportunity to partner with a new senior product principal in ServiceNow to drive strategic innovation. They will help drive, with other principals on the team, across 4 main priorities: 1/ defining & driving our product strategy for our most exciting technology partnerships, 2/ launching cross-product solutions, 3/ providing strategic product strategy guidance for pricing and packaging optimization 4/ establishing forward-deployed co-innovation with our most important partners and customers. This Director of Strategic Ops will sit in the Solutions, Technology, Experience, and Platform (STEP) Strategic Operations group, along with others who are aligned with the ServiceNow Product teams. 

We are seeking a fast mover to get key initiatives off the ground, keep the team organized, establish and drive operating rhythms, and grow with the team. The candidate must have relentless curiosity, the ability to execute and influence at the Executive level, and a get-it-done attitude – all while collaborating across the organization to successfully build and deliver innovation for ServiceNow.  

What you get to do in this role:

  • Partner tightly with the SVP Product to stand up their team and execute on their remit
  • Capture, prioritize, and delegate key actions to move the ball down the field, based on a predictable rhythm of business
  • Navigating ServiceNow internal teams and Strategic Technology Partners externally (e.g. MSFT, GCP, Nvidia, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Align among Product Management and all Stakeholders (C-Level, other functions). Own relationships with internal cross-functional principals to coordinate business activities and proactively distill and communicate relevant information in all directions 
  • Partner with the FP&A and Talent Acquisition teams on budget attainment, management, and hiring execution 
  • Execute on arising, transient, high-impact initiatives, as defined by the SVP Product

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 13 + years of demonstrated success partnering with product and go-to-market teams to shape and execute strategies that drive business growth
  • Hands-on experience in product development processes and thriving in matrixed environments; able to build trust across product, engineering, and GTM teams with a clear grasp of how execution impacts the business 
  • Over six years of relevant experience in the technology sector or equivalent
  • In-depth understanding of the economics behind AI-powered enterprise software platforms
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity; in particular, you excel at structuring complex problems, using data-informed insights, and communicating findings to senior executives
  • Strong intuition for product quality and user experience
  • Proven ability to develop business cases and identify critical financial metrics in the tech industry
  • Skilled in developing and managing annual financial planning processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly collaborative team contributor with a shared success mindset
  • Clear and effective communicator in both technical and business contexts

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $189,100 - $331,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
